The family
The family is a group of intimate people emotionally involved and related either by blood'marriage or adoption .it is responsible for the reproduction and training of the children'and protection of the old people.
family is a durable association where individual are emotionally attach and related with one an other' by blood marriages and adoption.
The family is fundamental instrumental foundation of large social structure . in that all other institution depend on its contribution.
Usually family consist of husband' wife and children and in some cases their relative old parents and their family . there are some terms' which are used in family structure.
In which the family is based on male descent and inheritance . all the families in Pakistan are patrilineal.
This type of family is based n female descent and inheritance . it is not found in Pakistan .
In this family descent is traced through both male and and female lines.this type is found in Arab societes'where son shows the line of his father and the daughter of her mother.
That family is located at the residence of the husband family . after marriage ' the wife shifts to her husband's home .
That family is located at the residence of wife's family.after marriage the couple shifts to a new hone of their own.
That family is located at the new place away from the families of either husband or wife . after marriage'the couples shifts to a new home of their own.
