Types of family
It is known as conjugal family. This type of family consist of husband wife and their unmarried children this type is very
common in urban areas.

This type of family consist of husband wife and their or more married children along with their spouses and children.in Pakistan patrilineal extended family is very popular in rural area.parents+their sons wife and their children.
This type of family known as consanguine family.it includes husband'wife children and two or more generation of relatives related through either the paternal or maternal line.they maintain a common residence and share common social 'economic and religious regulation.
In this type of family only one child continues to live with his parents after marriage.this type of family is also very common where parents live any of their children .
It is also called mother child unit this type of family consist of mother and children.it is quite rare and is seen in cases when father dies or divorce his wife .
If the husband and wife are living together for a long and there is no issue'such a family is called an arrested family.
